These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Veil and the virtual card service at getveil.cards. By creating an account or using our cards, you agree to these terms.

01Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for ensuring that using a privacy-focused virtual card is lawful where you live.

02Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account;
  • You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use;
  • One person or entity may not operate accounts to evade limits or a prior suspension.

03The service

Veil issues virtual payment cards that you fund by cryptocurrency top-up. Card availability, limits, and features depend on your plan. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

04Top-ups and balances

  • Top-ups are credited after the required network confirmations for the amount actually received;
  • You must send only the supported asset on the supported network — sending any other token or network may result in permanent loss of funds we cannot recover;
  • Balances are denominated as shown in your account and may be subject to plan minimums.

05Fees

Applicable plan prices, minimum top-ups, foreign-transaction fees, and any other charges are shown at checkout and in your account. You are responsible for network (blockchain) fees on your top-ups.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to use Veil for any unlawful purpose. Prohibited activity includes, without limitation:

  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion;
  • Fraud, purchase of stolen goods or data, or unauthorized use of a payment method;
  • Buying illegal goods or services, or transactions prohibited by card-network rules;
  • Circumventing security controls, spending limits, or these Terms.

See our AML Policy for details on prohibited activity and our compliance measures.

07Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, freeze, or close cards or accounts — and decline or reverse transactions — where we reasonably suspect prohibited activity, a security risk, or a breach of these Terms, or where required by law.

08Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that every merchant will accept a virtual card, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veil is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of funds resulting from your error (such as sending the wrong asset or network). Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Veil is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

11Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
